Snow Reports 15.03.2007 Onwards

Woke up to a surprise covering. About 2cm at 8am... mostly on the grass and roofs but a little had settled on the pavements. Turned to rain by 8.30am and nearly all melted now.

Its been snowing here quite heavily for the past hour but didn't settle at all. Starting to die off now.

Snowed fairly heavily from 4.45 to 8.45, 2cm covering everywhere. All melted now, except in the edges of the garden.

Hi all

Was snowing here when I work up at 7 and had started to setting. Continued snowing until at least 8:15, when I left to head into London by tube but by then no snow was settling.

Had about half an inch of snow on the ground this morning

complete suprise this morning woke up to snow/snow cover which soon became moderate leaving a deposit of 2cm roads clear pavements icy/slushy temp of -1.0 at 06.30 all gone by 09.45 snow to sleet around 08.45 then to drizzle 09.15 temp at 10am +4.3

now why dont it do this at the proper time of the year

We had snow overnight here giving a couple of cm.

I awoke at 5 a.m. (briefly) to catch the last of the snow. A couple of cms covered the garden.
