:) Just when I thought the Daily Express, the so called world's greatest paper had given up on the sensational weather headlines,a friend at work showed me todays copy.

Page on the super hornets due to arrive here with GW and next to it was an article on the recent Storms that lashed the UK,it said that it cost the UK £350 Million :)

Next to it was a response by the UKMO which stated that such extreme conditions were unlikely to continue into March,HOWEVER it quoted Wether Action as stating that Late March would see a return of such extreme weather as they forecast a MAJOR Storm crossing the UK bringing chaos in its wake :)

Correct me if i am wrong but is'nt Weather Action a Piers Corbyn company??

Here we go again,JUST where does this idea come from I surfed all the available sites and came up with NO reference to any such event so far in advance :)

Yes, that's dear Mr Corbyn - the man who predicted that February 2007 would be one of the coldest on record, with the average temp in Birmingham 0c .............

btw I predict a storm will cross Britain around the end of March 2008. Bet I'm right - it's a bit like predicting a heatwave during July or August :)

Peirs was on sky news this morning, saying he predicted this very bad spell of weather? What does he think of this autumn? Did he say that this spell of bad weather would continue? I missed the last bet of the interveiw.
