Slightly concerning, activity did increase markedly afterwards.

Me too, while I don't expect low output to actually allow the earth to cool, i tend to see an active Sun as a negative thing regarding climate change overall.

Love how this thread has witnessed three solar cycles, 23,24 and probs 25 very soon. I think we have kind of have entered cycle 25 already. Hope this side of solar minimum delievers colder winter as well. looks like this year ben msot spotless in long time as well. P.s would definitly, prefer to stay in a minimum.

Out of interest  on this date last yr we were at 88 spotless days,so we are 33 spotless days ahead of last yr for  this date.

We didn't hit the current number of spotless days last yr - 121 until July 11th.
