Talking about solar activity, it may affect spacecraft with its radiation storms. When there is a strong space radiation storm that can har satellites, launches might be delayed. It his can also be the case with strong solar flares that could interfere with communications. In orbit satellites can have issues due to strong space weather. Some satellite orbiters push satellites to a lower orbit to prevent damage. Low orbit satellites don’t have much effect, higher orbit satellites are in more danger during strong space weather events. For example on the LASCO imagery you can see the images with many white sparks due to incoming particles on the sensor.

Planned for launch in 2025 ESAs Lagrange Mission will probably be our next side view of the sun once the Stereo A mission ceases to be of value. Also, I`d like to mention Parker Solar Probe impressed me really how it was manufactured to resist high temperature.The space craft which is capable to take samples from the outer corona of the Sun really makes you amazed by it, because of the high temperature it can endure. So looking forward to the new mission to the Sun.

They will have to visit at night when it will be not so hot?

Have you ever heard that solar activity has a huge impact on our technology. Our technology in space, to our technology on the ground, historical evidence shows the vulnerability of modern technology when confronted with high energy particles, a by-product of space weather events. Equally important is to remember that space weather has a global footprint, thus the damage is felt worldwide rather than local, much like an outbreak. Impact on satellites, aviation, power grid, navigation and communication systems have all been previously documented.
