Live 2 day Chasercon event happening now in Denver if anyone is interested. A large agenda throughout the weekend with top chasers talking about past chases, etc. Well worth a look at the live stream on Youtube.

Meanwhile some fiendishly cold air over N. canada gives rise to a quite weird looking sounding at Cambridge Bay

Brutally cold! :cold: Looks like spring is very much on hold up north.

On the other side of the coin, there is some pretty big heat being drawn up into the SW corner as the subtropical ridge re-establishes with temperatures in the mid 30s this week, and well into the middle of next week.

It's the time of year when these huge contrasts between the advancing heat in the south and retreating cold in the north collide to give the spectacular storms and tornadoes, some of which have already materialised.

That's one of the largest systems I have ever seen. Wow.
