Storm Reports 1st August 2006

Already been some storms over Northern England today, possibly more to come.

Just had the old rumble of thunder from a heavy shower about 5 mins ago

Had quite a severe Hailstorm in Cleethorpes around 15:30ish, as it passed out over the Humber some quite intense Forks were seen followed by deep rumbles of thunder. Temp at the mo seems to have picked up a touch, but more clouds building up to the north.

Getting a few rumbles of thunder along with a heavy downpour for the past 5 minutes.

Had a nice thunderstorm pass overhead earlier this afternoon whilst I was at work. Some heavy rain accompanied the storm which lasted about 30 minutes.

We had some heavy rain about 20 minutes ago accompanied by thunder and lightening but it was pretty short lived.

Heard rumble of thunder at 2pm.Its now started again hope it last bit longer.

Seen 1 flash and heard quite a few rumbles of thunder. It's wan't overhead probably about 10 miles east but still the best yet this year.

I know it's a couple of days late, but here (I hope, as this is the first time I have tried to post a piccie!) is a picture of the squall line from the thunderstorm in the Belfast area on Sunday. Hope it works!
