Hey all,

Wasn't sure where to post this - I hope I've chosen correctly :)

Anyway, on Saturday (August 5th) I'm jetting off to Inverness for a holiday in Speyside and the Isle of Mull. I know it's still a bit far off (plus the models are all up in the air) but would anyone care to try to give me an idea of the weather I might expect? I'm hoping for dry and breezy to keep the midges off!

TIA

DS

My ability on forecasting isnt as good as some so i'll hold back on a forecast but i can suggest two options;

UK 7 & 16 day forecasts on NW via

http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=forecast;type=home

or one i seen mentioned last year is to contact netweather

http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=contact;sess=

There was a link to contacting the forecast team which i think maybe the 2nd one ive posted.

If all else fails, and given John has enough time - drop johnholmes a PM & im sure he'd be happy to oblidge :)

have a good holiday and hope you bring back lotsa piccies for us :lol:

My grandmother takes regular trips to Scotland in late August. The weather is probably slightly different by then but all her photographs show low cloud, mist and drizzle around the coasts and beautiful sunny skies inland. She says the temperature around the coast is between 15-18C and the temperature inland ranges from 20-24C. Her highest ever temperature there has been 26C.
