thunder and lightning over walsall and wolverhampton about 17:00... rainwise wasnt really heavy, i think we was on the edges of it, but seemed to be moving southwards.....

that's another one on me bedpost :lol:

Just had 40 mins of LOUD CG's and plenty of rain in Grimsby.

weatheronline radar shows another following development too - so hopefully more!

Did knock the power out too but all electricals working nicely.

Once storm hit temp dropped 3'c instantly. Very cold rain too.

Just did a quick chase on the way home from work,

Aylesby near Grimsby, intense Forks heavy rain, water covering roads

Laceby, more or less the same, water coming up through drains, Fork Lightning

Waltham, .....lots of Forked lightning heavy rain.

Humberston, Same.

Cleethorpes, roads, paths flooded, heavy rumbles, intense Lightning out over Humber.....

.....still Humid....

I ALMOST went out for the chase, but knew by tracking it where it was heading, wind has shifted too so that'll be it for tonight me thinks.

Something happened Immingham way on though, heard a huge boom and alarm sirens of Conoco or similar going wild!

couple of small rumbles at 21:10 or so... didnt see ne lightning, but rumbles were faint. dark skies all over where i was at (the chippy up the road).

2 in one day.. cool :)

Had 3 loud but distant rumbles from a fast developing but small storm abiout 10 miles away over worksop. The sky turned black and was accompanied by a gust fro nt that approached but then retreated. Very hot and humid all day. Very warm last night too.

Yip - it originated Donna Nook to Louth area, created a slight spin and whisped over meggies.

Main one though followed the A180 in.
