I can't believe it. It's been snowing lightly/moderatly for about half an hour and it's been accumilating... very slowly it must be said but it is sticking to the grass and car roofs.

Started this morning with the finest/smallest snow grains. They were hardly big enough for gravity to pull them downwards.

This gave way to light snow/graupel showers with some moderate showers falling but at no time did it settle.

We recently had about 15-20 mins of fairly heavy snow & graupel fall at around 4-5pm.

A few things was covered in snow.

snowed at 4.45 today and kept snowing till approx 6pm grass and car roofs covered decking covered and some even settled on the road for a while.

Snow showers started at 7am and maintained all day, increasing in intensity. Last one around 6.30pm and settled on cars, grass around house, paddocks (colouring the mud!), roofs of barn, stables etc. Now clear sky and freezing rapidly.

hi there guys its just started snowing up here in east kilbride, i am about 6 miles outside glasgow, its very light though but saw a few gritters earlier with their snow ploughs on

It's just started here in Fleetwood, Lancs. Quite light at the moment but it's happening! Temp 0.8 and 75% humidity according to my little weather station!

Turned to snow here, after three hours of rain. Ground is soaking wet though, but this did happen on March 11th two years ago and we still ended up with near to 10in.

Snow is coming down heavy now and winds are picking up if the lasts all nite could have a good covering!

Just checked on the mets website site for S-W Scotland and it looks as tho we're in for some snow.
