It's started snowing here in the last 20 minutes, and it's actually having a go at sticking!

This morning there was a lot of ice on pavements/cars in the northern parts of town, some placezss it looked like sugar had been sprinkled on there so I wonder if there was some freezing rain and/or ice pellets once the rain left and temp dropped.

had a short shower of something I thought was hail (sounded like hail from under the covers), but the residue on the lawn loks more like 'snow balls' rather than ice balls.

In lookijg for pictures to decide what it is, I found this

wow, have a look !

Unbelievable amount of snow up here, the whole north east is a white out, lots of closed roads and schools, my work has shut its doors today and tomorrow...the snow started last night and when i woke up this a.m. it was snowing and it didnt stop til 5 mins ago but its about to come back on...there would be an easy 3" with high drifting against the walls of about 10".

WHERE DO I POST MY PICS TO SHOW YOU ALL???
