Light snow falling, not laying on ground atm.

First flakes of snow falling now - some quite large but few and far between.

Not settling.

Wind getting stronger and gusty.

Westerly up to 20 mph.

Temperature is still up at 38.8F (3.8C) but it'll probably fall once the front has passed.

Snowing in Norwich at the moment, rather wet, but settling on cars... well, that was at 6am, now snowing steadily, everywhere is white

Pretty much continuous snow in Lerwick at the moment, all of it horizontal:

Temp -1C

Wind chill: -11C

Wind N Gale Force 8

Blizzard conditions at times with drifting snow.

2-3 cms level snow with drifts of 12-14cms

Just having a snow shower here. I have a feeling it will be quite quick but the flakes are nice & big & quite a lot of them!

Now the sun is shining as well (still snowing!) - looks good!

Heavy snow and hail through the night, left a 1cm covering. More snow this morning with big fat flakes. 2cm covering, 5cm in drifts. I love Northerlies

Stephen: I was up in the Clwydians at 6am with the dog, The Cheshire Plain was bathed in sunlight, but I noticed showers froming along the Dee Estuary and starting to stream down the Dee. Looked great!
