No matter how yellow my grass is, its time to cut its sorry ass, rake it deep and sprinkle alot of moss killer.

Today I thought they'd put a beach in Centenary Square in Birmingham, that was until I got nearby and realised it was browned grass :D . It hadn't even greened up after yesterday's storm.

The grass around the edges of the football pitch in my garden (which used to be the lawn) is still very green and lush and desperately in need of a trim.

We daren't get it cut though, for fear that it is the lawn equivalent of a baldies' comb over.

Strange that lady P, the grass here is as yellow as you could get its virtually nearly all dead.

Grass is fairly green here but some patches are brown and straw-like. The main thing is how hard the ground is and its cracking up in places.

I've been using "grey water" on the brown patches of the lawn. I'm not sure if I should be putting "night water" on it though as this may scorth it even more at this time of year.

The grass up here is browner than I've seen before...

No it won't.....put it on at night and let it soak in and it won't do any harm at all.

Lol!... it would easier just to come downstairs in the night and left trouser leg on the lawn!

I've noticed my plums are smaller this year too.

Ours is brown too, and I swear I didn't breath on it!

the grass round my way is pretty much looking like yellow straw - like it was last summer too. It does grow back green eventually - until next summer no doubt!

And why do weeds survive anything? My garden is mainly yellow grass with a few patches of green dandylion leaves :p
