All morning in Nottingham and Derby - Light to Heavy Rain

Then, leaving Derby at 12.30...

M1 Jnctn 23-21 - Snow (light to moderate)

M1 Jnctn 21-20 - Sleet (as above)

M1 Jnctn 20-16 - Snow (Mainly light, some moderate)

In parts, the snow had left a light covering in the feilds around the M1, however, the temperature never got lower than 0.5oC (even in the showers)

We had moderate to heavy snow for a couple of hours this morning. It did eventually settle but only on cars. grass, shed roof etc.. not roads though! I t was nice surprise, but its all melted now. Whilst the snow was here we had a covering of about 1cm.
