Lying snow here already in NI; but its not snowing anymore. The "covering" is mostly green, not white in the surrounding fields.. very dissapointed so far!

But it's early in terms of time I guess

Sleet showers now turned fully into snow showers in Bridgend, South east Wales.

Just 2 miles from the sea, close to sea level - there is hope for the low coastal areas!

Temps going crazy, was 4.9c 5 mins ago + now 2.2c and dropping every min.

Nothing to report in Leeds, but my parents reported a big hailstorm in Cleadon, Tyne & Wear shortly after 11am. The large cumulonimbus for that hailstorm passed to the east of me at 12 noon.

OK, the weather warning for this part of the country said snow/blizzard condition starting about 9pm and guess what? Yep, it's snowing now! Settling on the car but not on the pavement, YET!

First snow of the season here.

Only light flurries and sky well broken so nothing much to speak of.
