I'll try and do this on a daily basis if possible, these temps will be important towards the winter if we do get any continental influences!

Hope this will be of use: 4th October

Berlin: Max 18C/64F

Helsinki: (Finland) 15C/59F

Kiev: (Ukraine) 22C/72F

Moscow: 18C/64F

Murmansk (Russia, Barents) 8C/46F

Narsssarssuaq: (Greenland) 0C/32F

Oslo: 17C/63F

Reykjavik: (Iceland) 10C/50F

It will be interesting to watch the changes.

Any chance of plotting graphs of them? I know its a lot of extra work but your could superimpose one or wto maybe 3 together that way.

Something wrong with the max at Reykjavik, it was +5C according to Weatheronline and none of the METARS show it higher than this...

Anyway, watch out for some negative max's there over the next few days as some -10C 850hPa air works its way across Iceland. http://nwstatic.co.uk/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif

Cooling down in Iceland. The maps I posted have updated, but still show relatively mild weather across E Europe and W Russia. Fingers crossed this will change over the next week or so! :)

The continental cooling process continues to be painfully slow if at all!

I notice that from later next week Prague & surrounding Central European cities

are set to cool down considerably with temperature drops of some 5 degrees

That surely must be the start of the cooling process over Central Europe
