To tell the truth I have not got the foggiest, there must be records available somewhere but I don't know where,perhaps T.W.S. or Terminal Morraine might know.

I can't help you exactly for Riga but I have spent a lot of time working in Estonia which isn't too far away. Basically you could have the extremes but overall it won't be much different to here depending when in November you are going. It could be bitterly cold with snow or it could be pretty mild. If either of these happen in November it tends to only be for a couple of days as the area is still cooling.

I would say your best bet is about 10 degrees or so as an average daily temp at the beginning of the month falling to 6 ot 7 by the end.

Thanks again mate, coastal Greenland stayed largly below freezing for the first time this autumn today, not sure if its early or late but the temps look the same as in this day in 62, shame we probably wont get a similar winter!
