On the GEFS Ensembles, does the GEFS mean take into account the GFS Op/Ctrl run?

It takes into account the control run, but not the operational as that is the GFS and not the GEFS.

No, the mean figures come as a direct data field straight from the NCEP.

Is there a problem with the adverts on the top of the page? I keep getting errors displaying instead of the adverts as shown in the image, not too fussed about seeing them myself but as they are a revenue earner to the site i thought i'd mention it.

(It happens in IE and Firefox)

Hi CS, thanks for the offer, we've already got scripts running auto refreshes on one or two pages like the radar and the lightning detectors, but we're not looking to add them anywhere else at the moment http://nwstatic.co.uk/forum/public/style_emoticons//laugh.gif

If you're seeing things like site not found or invalid hostname it sounds like a problem with your dns, best bet is to take a look at this site and follow the instructions to use their dns, it will most likely solve it,

I've had that error elsewhere and not only on NetWeather either.

My suggestion is to upload Adobe Flash 10 (Used to be Macromedia) software (At times, depending on clicking on any advert will prompt a request. For me to date, no problems whatsoever. http://nwstatic.co.uk/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wacko.gif

Just a quick enquiry about the radar. I subscribe to it and therefore can view archive images, but I'd like to get a 24-hour accumulation image from Monday 5th January 2009. Is this possible retrospectively?

I dont think there is a satellite archive on the site, but i'm pretty sure you can get them here: http://www.sat.dundee.ac.uk/
