Hi Verglas, that's working as intended at the moment. Whenever you change the location of the forecast it will remember it and display it both on the homepage and when you go to the forecasts themselves. :)

Aha ! a 'design feature' :)

ok :)

Lol no, it's just to save a bit on the server - we've been having huge amounts of traffic on the site over the past couple of days, so we've taken those features off for now. We also did it last year during busy times.

Will post an announcement about this when it's confirmed but it's very likely there will be upto 30 mins of downtime during tomorrow or at the weekend (probably overnight hopefully) as we're likely to be upgrading the processor in this server.

Hi Paul / anyone alse who knows.

How come I can not see the number of / names of users at the bottom of the forum pages? This seems to coincide with the forum getting busier!

Thanks

Dave

Hi

I left a garbled message on the NetWeather answerphone regarding renewing my subscription and keeping the same user name. Just to let you know that I've sorted it :p and renewed OK.

Cheers 'Dizzy' Daisy ;)

Just trying to look at the forecast for Lerwick so I can enter the JH comp and got this message when I pressed the 8-16 day tab

An Error Has Occurred: Please try the refresh button or the back button on your browser and try again.

The error has been logged and will be investigated.

sql: -- Untrapped Error:

No such file or directory /var/www/html/forecastsin/gfs.20070202/06/TMP~2-HTGL.efc at subs/ensforecasts.pl line 1289.

The only way I could clear the error was to exit the NW site.

There seem to be some data issues today, I can't see the last 2/3 of the 12z on here. I'm sure Paul or Karl will be on the case :)

Thanks. It might be the perfect excuse to not enter this weeks rather tricky competition! :)
