Its probably just a case of your browser cache storing the old avatar - just press f5 once you have uploaded the new one and it should change to it :(

Not sure if anyone is aware of this, but the Lightning Detector Explained link doesn't work for me on the bottom of the UK Live Lightning page.

No prob Paul. :)

Whilst you're in that neck of the woods you might want to check out the Euro Lightning, EUCLID, Latest Strikes link.

I get a dead link there as well. This works though.

Make sure you press Control + F5 rather than just F5, that way it refreshes the transparent server too rather than just your local cache.

Try again Pete, we know these things are difficult for the elderly, but you do well considering. :(

Please can someone explain about Current Conditions and Reports: Weather Reports.

The first post at about midnight usually says “Please post your weather reports here.”

Does that mean reports of weather conditions

– at the time of the report?

- or for the day before up to midnight?

Ta Paul

Gotcha! :)

I asked because I thought that the timing of the posting (i.e. Midnight) indicates that you should post info either for the day before (or should that have been posted ON the day before) or info at the time of the entry.

It's obviously for AT THE TIME info. :) Thanks.

So when should you post records for the whole day, i.e. a summary? Any time, I guess?

Hi Scribbler

I would say that yes, try and put the summary in for the day (i.e. Thurs) into the Thursday thread.

Try and not leave it too late though, as each days thread will close at around midnight :)
