Is there a rough timeline for the climate and environment area reopening?

It would be a pity to miss out on the sea ice discussions, especially now that we're into the last 6 weeks of the Arctic melt season and things are looking very interesting.

I cannot find the 'New research' thread - is it in the closed climate section?

Yeah, it's part of the climate and environment area. So it should be back within a few days hopefully.

They aren't available any longer as they were removed from the dataset when the gfs was upgraded. Thought they'd been dropped out of the menu, so will check that.

Sounds like something local I'm afraid - defo working fine in chrome. Would suggest clearing cookies/cache and seeing if that sorts it.

When I attempt to log into the forums part of netweather towers, my user name always defaults to my old password which I find annoying , any way I can get around this? I am using Google Chrome and Windows 7 should that be of assistance and as Chrome is very slow I clear my cookies and history every few days.
