On IE 8.

Suddenly from today, I cannot get into the Netweather.tv home page.

It flashes up for about half a second and then gives me a blankscreen as if something is blocking me or an error has  been detected. but I cannot find an error message anywhere.

I have disabled all my anti virus and all other tools, but still no go.

I can access all other sites (including a lot of secure sites, etc) without any problems.

I have no problem on Google getting to your home page.

I have just tried accesing to the Community page direct without going thru your home page and it worked OK. All the rest of your bloggs (radars, chat, etc seem to be ok), but as soon as I traverse back to the home page the screen goes blank again and I am locked out..

Can you help?

MIA

 .

have you tried clearing the cache?

This should be fixed now :)

Would definitely recommend upgrading to a more modern browser though - IE8 is very old!

Paul,

Yep it is fixed now.

Thanks very much

By the way, what is the area of the code that the problem occued in?

I inherited this PC and have not got the key for the windows XP system so cannot upgrade (I believe), without  buying a new licence. Unless you know differently?

Netweather extra

When looking at multiple gfs panels at one time if you opened up three or four they used to position themselves in a nice friendly grid. Now if you open up three or more the first two line up along side each other while the others form a column below. It be would nice be nice to have graphic one and then graphic three directly below that and then graphic four below graphic 2 as it used to be.

This is in IE11 or Firefox 26 any resolution.

not sure if this is the correct place for this kind of help request, so admin/mods please move to correct area if you need to

Davis problem

This started on 19 Jan when I tried to access a video link via the Wengen web site.

Since then I can only get the summary chart. Any attempt to get other data and I have this message

correct one to follow!

So no plots, strip charts, monthly data etc is available.

Any ideas how I might put this right please?

The data is fed into my pc from the weather envoy sat at the side of the pc. Downstairs I have the monitor and it will show previous days data for all aspects, T, Td, rainfall etc etc?

Remember I am a complete numptie regarding all things computer wise?

Thanks if anyone can assist.

John

The only thing I can suggest is that it's perhaps a bugin the software as you're using a beta version there which may have some problems within it, perhaps install a stable version rather than the latest beta to see if that helps?
