Is anyone else finding that when they load the charts page they need to give it a good 5-10 seconds to let the page load properly now because I find if I go straight to the charts and click on a chart nothing appears? But If I leave the page alone for the time as per above all works fine.

Not seeing a problem with it here, which browser are you using?

I've been having to hit ctrl f5 once or twice to get any of the charts to appear. This happens almost any time I try to view the charts. I'm using chrome at the moment. Might be related Blizzards issue?

Can't say I've seen that happen in chrome, but will have a look in to it - we've not made any changes to those pages of late so tricky to know what it may be other than perhaps some network related problem in to the cdn we use to serve the images.

When did it start happening?

Hi BFTV! I've had to strip chrome as it was producing BSOD's and taxing the CPU? I do not know if this is an issue with IE 10 'fighting' for resources but if you have IE10 on your system maybe try and revert the 'update' back to IE9? ( God Bless Mr Gates......)

As a first port of call I'd recommend clearing your browser cache and cookies - it tends to fix 90% of problems. Let me know if that doesn't work though.

Been a few weeks with me too. Everything cleared now so I'll let you know if the problem reoccurs during the day.

Ok thanks, did the problem clear on its own or did you clear the cache first?

By everything cleared I meant the cache!

The problem is still occurring though, not every time, but probably 3/4s of the time. When I select a chart from the drop down menu, nothing appears, not even the "this chart is currently unavailable" message, unless a hard refresh is used.

Everything else on the site is working normally as far as I can tell. I only really use the GFS and ECM charts, if that's of any help.

http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?locale=en_US&y=PROD_ACCT&page=content&id=SLN3699 - can use these steps for all images not loading if not already tried this.

Could it be flash player probs?

Must say that the last month or two (I think since the NW upgrade/new style) it's been one of the the fastest sites! everything loads so quick! by the way just for interest I use Google Chrome I keep this updated too.

Very odd, any idea on how long this has been happening?

As a quick test, does this load first time for you?

Don't think it would be related to either of those things. :)

That image loaded immediately. I'd say it's been going on the last 4 to 6 weeks perhaps.

I tried looking at the GFS charts just there and it was fine, then tried the ECM and the problem happened again?

Really bizarre - I hate these sort of problems - totally random and virtually impossible to nail down.

If you could do something for me please - click the link below to open the image in a new tab, then in chrome click ctrl+shift+i - the developer tools panel should open up. Once it's open, click the network tab, then refresh the page - it should then load a load of lines into the left hand pane.

The very top line on the left should be the address of the image, so if you can click that it should bring some info into the middle pane, scrolling that down a bit should show a section called response headers, if you can copy and paste those in here for me it may (hopefully!) give some clues.

No problem, and that's the stuff. It all looks fine to be honest, it's loading from the nearest server location to you which it should and everything looks in place. Am running short of ideas as to what it may be - will have a dig about.

As a punt, you're not running kaspersky are you?

I'm afraid I don't know what kaspersky is, so I doubt it.

I haven't enabled any new ad-ons or tools during the last few weeks either.

If you have any chrome addons running, it may be worth trying with them switched off - they may have updated during the last few weeks and caused a clash of some type. Beyond that I'm struggling a tad as the charts load from the same address/locations as most of the other images, stylesheets etc on both the site and the forum, so if it were that not connecting I'd expect you to be having weird things happen all over the place on here.

The only 2 extensions I have had enabled are a windows media player one, and the reddit enhancement suite. I disabled them, but it made no difference so far
