Got a problem in firefox 17.0.1 where people don't have a aviator the subject they replying too the title spreads out across the page.

On the attached page look at posts by knocker.

IE just displays a missing aviator symbol.

That's just the difference between how different browsers cope with blank images, so not much we can do there. That said, what's interesting is that Knocker's avatar is fine, and I can see it when loading pages with it on, so I'm not sure why it's not loading in some instances.

I wonder if they're doing their aviator via url and the drayteks web content filter is blocking it.

On a side note I noticed I've got two warning points from the year dot. Don't they ever drop off?

Not sure why that would be happening, but as it's not being reported by others and we've not made any recent changes to the editor etc, I can only assume it's something local on your pc. I would imagine clearing your browser cache will sort it.

Have idea for pinned wildlife observation thread, Wildlife and weather very much linked, Much interest in how weather patterns affect our nature from plants to mammels, Some sort of pinned thread could be of interest, Recording early arrivals birds etc, Would be willing to put some time into such a thread. Also help with identification of species and what can be done to help wildlife in various severe weather situations, Being involved with my local wildlife trust and RSPB, I know people interested in wildlife and how weather changing there patterns,

The worldpay side is not something we can control unfortunately, but they're not reporting any issues currently. Maybe the best bet is to give us a call on 01386 576121 and we can take payment on the phone for you.

I've noticed that no-one's location is showing on their posts at the moment. Have I turned that feature off or is it broken or disabled for some reason? It's very useful, especially when trying to interpret people's hopecasting in situations like these!

Hi

We have disabled it for the moment, for some reason it was causing the forum database to creak under pressure, some have added location to their signatures for now.

Regards

Ian

I often view the forum through the Safari browser on my iphone but I have seen references to a netweather iphone app. I have searched the itunes store but cannot find it anywhere. Some guidance would be appreciated.

Hi

That would most likely be the invision native app, not a Netweather version.

Regards

Ian
