Thanks Paul, hopefully the upgrade will sort it.

Lol, thanks C - I've deleted the majority of the semi-deleted posts from the model thread and it's solved the problem this evening.

As for the signature, hopefully it won't be too long by the end of Feb....

I'm not sure if anybody else has posted about it but I've found that on an iPad and iPhone, no matter what I enter as the location for the local forecast, the forecast is always given for the City of London.

Same for me on the laptop.

What you need to do is type in your location, then underneath the search box, you will see your location appear in bold letters. Basically just click that and the forecast will change. :)

Thanks, though bold text doesn't come up when I enter my town but my postcode seems to work ok http://nwstatic.co.uk/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif

The postcode comes up in bold?

Your town just doesn't exist. http://nwstatic.co.uk/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif

Glad it's working now though. :)

Hi,

Had an e-mail this morning from RBS Worldpay saying my subscription renewal had bounced due to card expiry. I updated these details at around midday today with a new card and it said it would let you know. It also said payment was not due until tomorrow, however, I am unable to access NW Extra this evening - when will I be back 'online'?

Cheers,

TE

I see, & I guess if you want to go back to the same forum as all ready selected, you toggle, or press the back button?

I am having problems with something called compatibility view which I notice that Netweather is using. The visuals appear 'stretched' images are distorted and scrolling is rippling. Is this something to do with Netweather or is my computer on the blink? It is very annoying.

All seems okay now. Realised that it was nothing to do with Netweather! Doh.

For some reason this site (the forum) keeps freezing causing my Internet to crash. Happens on no other website. This is the message i keep getting. Any idea?

Windows Data Execution Prevention detected an add-on trying to use system memory incorrectly. This can be caused by a malfunction or a malicious add-on.

I'm not sure to be honest - we have no addons so that error isn't directly related to the forum. I think you probably need to do a virus scan and clear your cookies as it may be you have something going on with your pc there which is clashing with the net.

Will do, just seems odd how it only happens on the net-weather forum. Will have a go in the morning and see if that fixes the problem.

Thanks for the quick reply! :)

I've been having to manually refresh it. Not like it bothers me because it's a high quality radar.

It seems fine now for the time being. Thanks for the quick response. :)
