Heavy snow in Yate north of Bristol, even though Bristol (12 miles south) had no snow this morning.

Everything is turning white here for the first time this winter :D

========================================

Now stopped and all melting :D

Woke up to a covering here. About 1-2cm of snow. Not much but it looks nice.

3cm of fresh snow overnight and a light snow shower falling as I type.

Mean depth of snow now back up to 13.2cm, 100% cover.

We have a good 4-5 inches here in Aberdeenshire. I was wondering if I was ever going to see any real snow this year!

Oh it is still snowing hard!

Coming down heavily here. Started about 15 minutes ago and I estimate that 2cm has fallen in that time.

Heavy Snow for over 2 hours in Sittingbourne.

Snowing here in Canterbury - between 1-2cm level on the ground. That is now four consecutive days of snow cover for at least the morning.

Manky old heavy sleet all morning. Got soaked on the school run. Very frustrating, if it had been proper snow and had settled we'd have had a good few cms by now i reckon!

Sleet here, keeps trying to turn to snow.

Right on edge of main band of ppn.

Hope it turns to snow if we get some heavier stuff.

Regards,

Tom.

Another 2cm of snow overnight and some light snow falling on and off.

Sky is fairly clear and the laying snow is already beginning to melt.

Northerly wind at 8-12kts making it feel really bitter
