Snow/wintry Precipitation Reports: 22nd February

Frequent half-hearted showers, but temp dropped back down to 1.8º. Last night's snow's still hanging about in most places.

Temp 4.0C, DP -0.6C and it's snowing. Amazing at those temps. Especially good news re temps on coastal plains - started out as light rain, temp dropped from 5C and changed to light snow, so the definition of coastal plain, here at least, is very narrow (about 11 miles in land to this location). Light snow shower only.

First snow shower here since 9 am this morning.

Light NE wind and increasing low cloud.

Temp is 1c

Snow showers overnight gave 2cm of lying snow most is still around but thawing whenever the sun appears.

Like Evanmorgan said we had a shower but I have no snow in my part of Hertford.

Obviously the "snow barriers" went up again over the Wash last night. Woke to green grass, blue skies, birds singing. Had two hefty showers this am both lasting about 3 mins and all gone again in the sun. Wind direction seems to mean nowt to this area round the Wash - it never snows!

We've been having quite heavy showers all day today so far but none of which have been allowed to settle. The radar looks interesting and the sky does look as if its currently setting itself up for a more prolonged duration x
