Moderate to heavy snow falling up here in Darwen.

Following on from my reports yesterday...

Continued snowfall settled on grass and vehicles. approx 3cm

Noted 4 snow showers through-out the night to this point. Another one jus starting i assume by the lightness of snow. (or jus finished)

snow lying around 2cm now from a heavy blizzard shower earlier on in the night.

had two more light snow showers - one was fairly heavy and settled to about 0.5cm on dry surfaces, the other was just a flurry.

please let there be more later!

Frequent overnight snow showers have left 3 cm here on the low grounf, 10 cm on higher suburbs of sheffield though. looks amazing out of the windows, white for miles!!

Woo Hoo it's arrived.

Been snowing overnight - very lightly and has left 2-3cm on grass, cars etc but now is getting heavier and has been snowing since I awoke at 6.50.

Pretty as a postcard here in Sutton. Would say we have had an inch over night and still currently having a light snow shower. Sadly you can tell that temperatures will cause it thaw out pretty rapidly as patches have already appeared on the lawn. Savouring the scene for now however !
