Drove home through a blizzard but it has now just turned to drizzle :(

It was starting to lay on the road but not enough to justify 18 mph from the Audi in front of me :D

Still snowing. It has been snowing on and off all day although it was heaviest this morning when there was a partial cover.

Drove through an impressive hail shower in the Romford area at about 5pm and had a mini blizzard to contend with onn the A127 outside Rayleigh but nothing whatsoever in Central London today.

i'm thrilled to announce that the "big freeze" has produced its first snow shower for Haywards Heath this evening. Temperatures look as though they *may* dip down below freezing for the first time too. Things are getting pretty severe here folks... :(:D

had heavy snow and hail from 19:30 onwards, looks to have cleared now, left a covering, who said it was all about the east today :D
