Well Paul S is going to have a horrid time counting up all the snow reports, what with 2000+ reports to get through, could be a long time till we find out the final score off winter, but i suspect people in the SE have been boosted right up towards the top,esp Kent!

You are not wrong there Kold!!! Still only on Wed 23rd, no chance of updating the overall league at present either, that will have a finished version in the spring by the looks of it

A victim of it's own success!!!

Happy Mothers Day to all you mums. No snow today, just checking in to report last Friday. Were lucky? to see 1cm of snow fall in approx 2 hours. Kids were tentively waiting to see if schools would close and at 8.45am snow was at its heaviest so rang school, shut. Snow was really heavy at times but had stopped by 10am. By noon had turned to sleet and then rain. By mid afternoon all had been washed away.

Just to let you all know the Snow League Tables will be updated but due to the shear volume of these i will probably be lumping 3 weeks together hence the delay, am still collating last weeks, a little delay yet but they will be of very interesting reading!!

Faversham kent has had a total of nearly 40cm of snow in the last two weeks...... weve had four falls of 4-6inches which have melted inbetween. Snow on the ground almost everyday of thelast two weeks and a temp on the wednesday morning last week of -11c backed up by numerous persons in boughton, blean, and just south of where i am, with -9 to -12c recorded. so i have had more than the 2cm on the table. please can you add my data into the table, thanks, will

Crowborough, East Sussex 220m ASL

Since 16 February 2005:

43cm total snow depth.

14 consecutive days where snow fell and accumulated.

17 snow days in total.

Showers too numerous to count. Certainly in excess of 30

Just (for the first time), looked at the snow league. I really cant believe it.

TM. You have the second highest max depth snow fall, yet you arent that far away from here. Absolutely gutted I didnt take a trip into the peaks.

There's still time, if you go tomorrow S.R. I looked this morning and Axe Edge and adjacent moors above about 450mts are still more than 80% snow covered.

Down here in the southern Peak though the snow is reduced to hundreds of drifts lying under the walls and on SW facing banks with a large open space to the north east
