  1. Here's a few pics from the storm on the 14th. Cape Clear is an island off the south Cork coast and is the most southerly inhabited place in Ireland. Twas difficult to stand straight at times and I lost count of the number of shocks I got from electric fences! It was a few hours before the worst of the winds, but I still recorded a gust of over 110km/h with mini handheld weather station I have attached to my bag.
