  1. In a bid to be as sustainable as possible, we've installed solar PV panels and an air source heat pump to lessen our carbon footprint. Our air source heat pump has been in operation for five months, over spring and summer, so it is a good time to review the performance and efficiency of our Caernarfon 18kW Eco Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) from Global Energy Systems. Most ASHP owners in the UK use Mitsubishi, Hitachi or Daiken ASHPs, so it should be interesting to see how a British manufactured ASHP, made for the British climate, will perform and compare. As part of this video, I’ve addressed our coefficient of performance (COP), performance and efficiency, the control panel and settings for the ASHP, noise rating and some general thoughts. I look forward to receiving your feedback and comment. I will do a follow up video in autumn and winter to provide a full performance and efficiency comparison. 2. Hi guys, I'll be moving shortly to an area with very flat fields at the back and looking for suggestions for an outdoor 1080p Wi-FI PTZ IP Camera. Any suggestions? I'd ideally like it to be able to stream continuously with the option to easily embed it's own software onto my website, such as a nest camera? I know you can do this with their indoor cameras. But do they also do outdoor variants? Also, is there an easy way to allow remote users to control the PTZ system themselves remotely via embedded UI on my website in a browser, is there any kind of cheap and easy solution for this? @Mapantz I think you may be the most knowledgeable in this area, any tips? Thanks!
  3. What sort of setup do you use for your model viewing and such? I'm quite curious to see other peoples ideas. I really enjoy being able to view model output side by side. It is also a really good experience for viewing multiple streams/webcams when I am unable to get to an area or like recently over in Oklahoma with the PDS. I have a couple of laptops for when out and about for the rare occasion I actually get some storms. I love my weather and I love my technology.
  4. Over the last few weeks my PC has developed bouts when it becomes very slow (very frequent) and I get the odd pop up message, "a web page is slowing down you computer". Being computer illiterate I've no idea what's going on so is there anything I can Do about this? TIA,
  5. Take an age to download, tend to hang without completing and sometimes trash what you have set up. At least Apple let you decide when their updates occur.
