Hot mamma

Just had a phone call from my partner who works the other side of newport, near the bristol channel, saying they just had a brief storm, it lasted about 10 mins with monsoon like rain and thunder and lightning!! Had nothing here though, just rain!!

Yeah, it's still raining heavy here, but not as bad as that!!! I have never heard or seen rain like that before!!!

OMG we just had that rain arrive here in Newport, my garden has turned into a swimming pool and i need and ark to get out!!! If this is only the begining then we r in trouble as the drains couldn't cope with that, the water is to close for comfort!

I know nothing is 100%, but will south Wales be getting any storms tonight 56% on forecast, but Met Office are forecasting partly cloudy, I know they are not the best, but very confussing, and I want to mow my lawn!!! Any ideas??

No storms, rain, not many towers, nothing, :lol: i think the glos shield is also covering us! LOL :lol:

still haven't had anything here, but at least my washing is drying nicely

looking at the nw lightning detector, they are all going north of here, missing out again!

wat time is anything due to hit here, as there is nothing to report, been under a grey blanket since 7 this morning!

Well, here in newport, south wales it is dry, light grey skies out my front window and dark clouds out my back, it will all kick off soon as I have just hung my washing out!

Just a big black cloud here in newport, it is not even raining!

Which way is this storm coming from, as I just been stood in the window watching and the clouds are coming from a n/e direction?

I wouldn't say heavy, not's not bouncing off the floor, the sky is actually brighter now!

Grey skies here, raining all morning but nothing to write home about, is this storm heading our way?
