  1. Seeing as every month this year bar May and August has been above average, it may be possible!
  2. I hope for a repeat of 2013-2014 without the rain. No snow again for an entire winter would be nice!
  3. Some really great runs tonight Looks like mild air will stay with us for the foreseeable future, this weekend will become mild with temperatures of 16C in the SE. Deep drawn southerlies are just what is needed at this time of the year. A quick summary - no cold in the reliable time frame, just mild weather which is great really!
  4. I'm liking the look of early December so far.. mild south westerlies are just what we need. Apart from keeping heating bills down, it is also much more pleasant to go out in
  5. Yes we have the heating on now. Even though the weather has been quite mild so far (no frosts yet) it is still cold outside and how anybody can go through even a mild winter without heating is just beyond me really!
  6. I don't think he is wishing floods again though, just mild weather. I just don't like how certain cold weather fans think they are above everyone else, when they post ridiculous charts that are 2 weeks away showing a freezing cold spell, yet if someone posted a mild chart 2 weeks away they get heckled and labelled as a troll
  7. A WUM for having a different opinion to someone else? Really? You don't have to like snow and cold to be a weather enthusiast. Many people such as myself would love a mild winter such as last year to reduce heating costs and bills, and for the fact that cold weather is just not pleasant. But that is our opinion, no need to bash it!
  8. Nope. Looks like it is going to be mild and warm for the foreseeable future. Bad luck for you, good luck for most of us here though who want to enjoy nice, pleasant conditions!
  9. This winter will be mild like last year. No snowfall yet again in London as well
  10. I want the dew points to rise again.. dropped to 15C and the air feels quite cool again with the air temperature at 23C right now.
  11. 29C here.. also max of the year so far.. normally we would have had higher by now
  12. Lol! What is your house heated to in winter, then? I wouldn't want to visit it unless I had a coat and gloves on, by the sounds of it!
  13. Any guesses if we will get storms tomorrow night or saturday?? If so where abouts do you reckon? it's been a while since I saw a proper one here!
  14. I understand people complaining if it is 30C.. but people complaining about 20C as heat just LOL Been outside tanning.. this next week actualy looks nice though
  15. Above 35C is too hot, but it is rare in the UK and I always welcome heat here. I would take a freak Moscow 2010 style July with a 35C average high here over our poor 24C average highs anyday. Below 10C is too cold for me. Below 5C is just horrible..
  16. Don't pay any attention to GFS temp charts.. they are absolute rubbish.
  17. Seeing as billions of people without medical issues around the world survive with 30C+ temperatures, I'd strongly disagree with this
  18. Typical yearly chart there that usually delivers the hottest day of the year. I would say 33-34C if the sun shines is possible somewhere. Otherwise probably 30C
  19. Ohh no 14C lows.. how sticky!! I hate our tropical climate.. have to move to Greenland ASAP!!

I was being sarcastic lol.. some people were actually complaining about it being too sticky!!

  20. Sticky night? Lol it was probably only 14C last night!! Try living on the south coast with average lows of 15C in summer.. to me 18C lows are the most pleasant. How anyone can find 14C lows 'sticky' is beyond me!! Luckily I am leaving this country for a few weeks to head to the Mediterranean soon, where I will see some real summer weather with 30C highs and 20C lows
  21. Heathrow records on average 4.2 days above 86F/30C a year.. not great but it's better than nothing! I think nowadays it would be almost impossible to not achieve it in a year.. since 1993 when it last didn't happen the UHI has become even larger and our climate has warmed slightly with the average July max at Heathrow now 23.5C Apparently the average 'highest max' in a year at Heathrow is 33.2C/92F
