My rain gauge/thermometer is saying -5.2?! Double checked it with my handheld IR thermometer and that says -4.5… this is crazy?!

Just walked the pup round the block and it’s almost daylight out there, it’s so weird!! I didn’t need a torch and I’m rural so barely any street lights in our part of the village. No moon out - cloudy too. Well eeiry.

5 hours since that last post? What’s going on?! Clearly nothing haha! im watching this next lot of rain with trepidation as we got flooded at work on Monday.. horrendous. I work at a factory on the edge of the levels Glastonbury way and it was absolutely mental. warehouse have removed all stock from the floor level just in case for tonight..

I just can’t see how it’s going to get cold enough to snow tonight onward. it’s been far too warm today and the low pressure incoming is surely going to be bringing warm air up from the south? It’s still 5c here

What an absolute waste of a chase. Getting lying snow here is like pulling hens teeth. It’s a by gone era I think. And I don’t know why I bother wasting so much time doing it
