I don't want any bad storms here thank you. I remember the great storm of 1987 and was living on the south London outskirts at the time. What a night that was! Someone mentioned it earlier in the thread and yes it was very humid that evening. I thought at the time it was odd for it to be that warm in October. Hope everyone in the 'projected' storm path stays safe.
Still snowing here in Weston. I've just had to dig my chickens out lol :wub: They're not keen on coming out of their house bless 'em. Hubby is working from home today and our son is walking to work seeing as the buses are cancelled (thanks to previous poster for that info.)
It snowed about an hour ago in WSM, and we got a nice 'dusting' but it's stopped now. I'm hoping to wake up to a complete winter wonderland tomorrow .... We've got a couple of sleds that are waiting to be christened!
Mornin' all. I got up and checked for more snow at around 6am and there was no more. Got up at 7.15 and it was snowing again, we have about 1/2 an inch or so. It's still snowing.
The snow has now stopped in WSM, but it's given a good dusting. Still very cloudy and the sky is that odd grey/slightly pinkish colour you get with snow. I hope we'll get some more ....
Got a couple of inches of snow here in Weston .... and it's still snowing! I went out a bit earlier for a walk and had a snow ball fight with hubby. I can't remember how long ago my last snow ball fight was
