Afternoon - when is kick off? Still tomorrow evening? I'e got so much riding on this- my reputation as snow queen needs this to come off big style!!! Otherwise i may need to resign at work deactivate my Facebook and become a recluse. -

Just in from work 0 degree in Basildon but 3 degrees by the time I got home on canvey. I work 50% office 50% warehouse with open sides - blimey it felt cold by 10pm. Just catching up and well it is gobsmacking unbelievable although deep down I know my weekend away next week is in tatters it' also so blimmimg exciting. Im ordering my shopping first thing for delivery Sunday . I spoke to my boss they still can't see it - oh well I've tried!

People may slate Canvey Island but bet they all be jealous of me bobbing along in the middle of the Thames next week ????

Question - is it possible we would get this cold air for the whole of next week and see NO snow at all anywhere? Could it just be dry bitter cold? What makes you more experienced guys predict snow? Maybe be a dumb thing to ask but its Just popped into my head.

People are looking at me blankly and like I'm from outta space when I warn them of the upcoming temperatures and snow risk. No one wants to believe me - had people at work say they bet me a tenner I'm wrong- tempting to take them up on it as could do with some spends for my boozy weekend on 2nd.

Butlins Bognor - they been doing them years well I've gone for 18 years great for hen n stag or big birthday bashes

They are great weekends. Done disco inferno in November but they do 70s 80s 90s 00s school reunion. Not kids adult only music weekends. Normally we have mild dry weekends perfect.

All jokes aside 5k people be travelling down for this weekend. I am admin on the Soul group for the weekend so I will be watching carefully to keep people up to date to alter travel plans if need be. Lot goes into these weekends. Not just the artists booked to play but all the fancy dress costumes bought/made. Cost my group £1300 for the weekend so if we can' go due to heavy snow it be gutting.

Evening. I thought winter was coming to an end but hubbie just showed me his app showing snow end of week so I'm back here very very anxious coz 2nd March is my annual girly weekend away to Bognor Soul Weekend at Butlins - travelling from here Canvey/Benfleet and packing high heels and pretty dresses!!!! Please please tell me this snow ain't going to happen ???
