Agreed! Went to bed about 10.30 last night, and it was wild! I was just dozing off when there was the most incredible noise, like a tornado was rampaging down the street! Honestly, I thought the windows were going to come in Very scary! -

Everything white and still snowing. Beginning to settle on the roads now, even with the valiant efforts of the gritters from early afternoon yesterday. I have to drive out to The Grange hospital this morning.. wish me luck, I hate driving in the snow

Light snow here. Edit - Still snowing, a bit more intensity and larger flakes. Nothing forecast ? Guess this just goes to prove that the weather will do what it will, and sometimes the models get it wrong.. windows and lamp posts are better indicators I think.

Persistent light snow for the last hour or so. Building in the more sheltered spots, blowing down the lane in little whirlwinds. I wouldn't mind this happening every day, a nice base for something more significant at the end of the week.. hopefully.

Light flurries on and off this morning.. got a heavier, more organised shower falling at the moment. As sodden as the ground was, its frozen solid now.. freezing on the mountain in the biting north easterly

BBC weather app has us down Sunday for heavy snow from 8am until 12pm.. turning to sleet after that. Will be interesting to see how much that changes before the day.. Will be nice if it does come off though. ☃ Edit - it's changed already, heavy snow from 2.00pm until 5.00pm I'll wait 'til Sunday and look out the window I think

Heavy rain here. Just back with the dog after her afternoon amble round the village... she would insist ? The little stream we walk along is in torrent.. methinks we may have a flooded rugby pitch by morning.. as long as that's all that's flooded we'll count ourselves lucky
