  1. Like buses ain’t it. Get sod all since Dec 17 and then this!
  2. Its picking up here again now as temps have dropped with no melting so will accumulate much better.
  3. Superb! Looks like You’ve done well considering Ramsey is practically at sea level
  4. Same here my boy’s 11 so was very young the last time he saw massive flakes like this. Also you having a few cm’s already bodes well for here.
  5. Getting clobbered here in Cambourne, never expected it to reach this far North TBH FullSizeRender.mov
  6. Interesting approach as I have done the same this weekend, not looked at radar or multiple forecasts or app’s. It snowed here on Friday night and today without knowing exactly where and when it was going to happen. The only weather related info I’ve seen is on this brilliant thread, seeing the excitement from people posting that they have snow.
  7. Hopefully you’ll get some coverage when the heavy stuff starts.
  8. Spot on mate, I remember watching the heavy snow reports from further South on Dec 17 but it just fizzled out by the time it reached the A14 However Feb 09 was very good in regards to when fronts kept coming up from the South after the initial Easterly when parts of the SE got buried.
  9. Trust me I remember all of this in detail as it was so frustrating. Dec 09 we had a dusting that lasted through till Jan 2010 it was literally a covering comparable to a frost. Living near the edge of the fens is one of the worst places for any precipitation. Huntingdon is under the clouds on that satellite picture and had negligible amounts of snow.
  10. Unbelievable winter Dec 09 Jan 10 and Dec 2010 all the snow events missed where I was living in Huntingdon at the time and ended up bone dry.
  11. It was definitely a little lighter this morning under clear skies and a frost.
  12. Yes big low pressure on Thursday maybe will shake things up a bit, setting up more Southerly tracking lows that can deliver in our part of the world.
  13. Thank you for the kind words, just had the standard version with high temperature and lethargic, was a bit worried as I’m an asthmatic but all better now and very thankful as many others have been very ill.
  14. Same here it’s a better morning for a run, not been myself for a month due to having corona virus over Christmas.
