  1. Hot and humid here, 26c already (at 10.00am) . The usual Fuerteventura wind is noticeably absent.
  2. Autumnal sky at dusk, 18.20 Fuerteventura
  3. 26c sunny, with high level wispy cloud
  4. Yep. That's why past threads along the lines of "It's Worringly dry" look so damn stupid.
  5. Grim out there now. 13c, moderate to heavy rain; the dark and gloom have descended on us.
  6. Decent start to the day, with temps up to 15c. Rain has arrived now, though, temp down to 13c.
  7. Mainly sunny, 13c. Not a bad start to the day here. October's been mixed weather wise, but overall it feels it hasnt been that bad. Well, that's my perception for this vicinity. The heating's only come on the odd occasion during 2nd half of month, just for an hour here and there.
  8. 10c, grey, gloomy, damp. Probably worst time of year, for me, here - both late Oct and November i cant stand, as it's either wet and windy or gloomy grey nothingness days, just like today. Hence, why we depart these shores in 9 days time, for 2 weeks in Fuerteventura.
  9. Easing off already, sun trying to break through.
  10. 13c and absolutely tanking it down. Radar looks like we're on the Southern edge of the main band across the Midlands and Wales. Hopefully will clear by 11ish.
  11. Heavy rain now, but not very windy here at the mo.
  12. Yeah, it went on for an hour yday eve, and it came on this morning from 06.30 til 9. Was hoping to keep it off til early Nov, but hey-ho.
  13. 3c when i awoke this morn, with a slight frost on the shed roof. 10c now, crisp, sunny day - feels colder in the shade but sat in back garden at mo, with a cup of coffee and in full sun it feels luverly
  14. Lashing it down. Rain hitting back of the gaff, indicating a Northerly direction. Temp has plunged from 18c, a couple of hours ago, to 12c.
  15. 17c raining. It was quite pleasant earlier today, with a top temp of 19c and a warm breeze.
  16. 10c, cloudy, been raining thru the night. Felt colder last night when i went to bed, as wind was hitting back of the house, indicating a northerly direction.
  17. If it's an EV another massive issue is car insurance. Prices will soar for owners of an EV. Actually they are already rising and likely to continue rising, because of EV repair costs. Already reports suggest there are not enough car technicans/car mechanics in the UK, with new required skills to service and repair EVs, esp when things go wrong. Edit: Diesel vehicle, early reports suggest.
  18. Grey, cloudy, 17c. Popped down shop for the paper in shorts and t-shirt. Did chuckle at the rents dropping their kids off at school, all layered up. Wonder what they'll be wearing when it's 0c
