  1. Amazing that scenes like this only get a yellow alert from the Met Office. If this had have been London it would be worldwide news!
  2. Quite disappointed really 6 hours of solid snowfall has given us 1-2". To say the heaviest precipitation has been passing over us and is stuck here looking outside doesn't reflect this!
  3. Radio saying a further 20 cm for some Yorkshire regions today!
  4. Snow is now sticking and visible from lamp posts over 100m away, without my glasses on!
  5. Looking exciting on the radar for us, but very wet outside with nothing staying settled as yet. Think I may call it a night and see what the morning brings!
  6. Think we are finally into the heavier stuff as it is settling now with good sized flakes.
  7. Finally snowing although very small flakes but lots of them
  8. Everything has been downgraded now on bbc weather, looks like that's it for us for the foreseeable future
  9. It appears to be turning back on itself over Newcastle on Raintoday. Bring on round two! (hopefully)
  10. Probably not much more than most! Just over 5 cm on the table top and snow slowing down now.
  11. The band is forecast to pivot when it hits the humber. I am guessing that's why we are forecast higher accumulations.
  12. A dusting here in Epworth not settled at all on paths and roads but everything else is covered.
  13. Becoming quite misty/foggy now here, still not had even a flake of snow! We seem to be stuck in a gap at the moment with snow both sides but never actually reaching us.
