    Oh what a bloody great end to the Autumn here in South Wales. Never (in 17 years) have I seen this much snow in November. 8-10cm on most surfaces; the main road had a covering until the traffic got going again around 7. I imagine there is a lot more up at Treherbert BLOODY GREAT!

    Snowing here We've had soft hail aswell....quite a lot of it.

    Light-moderate snow shower here just now. Lasted about 5 minutes, didnt really settle, too light. Pretty though :huh: The sky went eerily brown.

    Just to quickly add there was 6-8 inches of level snow on the Rhigos (500m asl) above the Rhondda in S.Wales yesterday.

    Snow settled here earlier in the morning, patchy bits left now the hills are very white still.

    Very nice snow cover above 250m here. At 200m, there is a dusting, I imagine it melted a bit since I woke up though South Wales benefits yet again!!!

    Had pink lightning, major flooding and loads of road spray driving back through South Wales an hour or so ago.

    Had 3 showers of hail so far today, and some nice Cb development The above taken this morning

    Got about 6inches level here, 10 inches in drifts Was snowing when I went to bed at 12 midnight, and snowing heavily when I woke up at 4am. Melting fast now though, drizzling a litte bit aswell! Wasnt expecting so much though!

    Wow, very, very heavy snow here. Road has dissapeared! Its a main road aswell!!! :shock: Just measured 17cms out back, with 10cms level.

    I can believe it mate! :lol: further North than you here in S.Wales we have had persistant blizzards, and now have very heavy accumulations!

    Have about 6 inches out back, but closer to 4 inches level. Still snowing hard. I guess theat Penrhys (300-350m asl) has got 6 inches+ level. Just above my house it is

    Have hefty snow still. Not easing up. Around an inch on the main road, and I measured closer to 9cms out the side of the house The grass is dissapearing out back aswell, indicating a good 3-4 inches out there.

    Similar here Julian. Constant moderate/heavy snow. Too wet to last long on the pavements, but the grass is looking pretty white now (close to 2 inches).
