    Super heavy hail. Temp covering.

    Temp has just fell by 5.5C in 10 minutes. That’s insane! Rain and ice pellets currently.

    We just got an absolute bombardment of ice pellets and snow. I assume that’s the cold air being mixed out. Temp has risen too. That’s all for now. And hopefully that’s all until autumn. Winter 22/23, you’ve been terrible. Sincerely, NW England.

    Probably for the best. As much as I love seeing it fall, it’s just a visibility hindrance whilst I’m in work.

    Yeah warmer air will steam in around 8pm unfortunately. Always the way when an event is going the right way!

    Even the smaller bits are snow now. No rain. temp has another 2 hours to drop, then it’s on the rise.

    I wouldn’t be so sure about that. I’m still confident that some areas could see a transient spell as temperature begin to fall. 6-8pm being the best time for it. There’s not going to be anything meaningful, but there’s flakes in the rain here already! I’m aware that the uppers, 0C iso and DAM are all heading in the wrong direction, but this is the NW, the land that defies all forecasts and variables.

    Low ground will see some of the action tomorrow night. Probably around 2-3 hours of a wet wintry mess before it turns completely to rain. 200m and above prob an extra couple of hours with temporary accumulations

    I imagine even the hills are going to struggle to hold onto this snow today. That sun has some real strength to it now. 5C here and no coat is required. Almost all traces of a wintry night have disappeared

    We had about 2 inches here. Couldn’t get up and enjoy it though, little lad was up all night vomiting. Looked out window, looks like the march sun is making short work of the snow!

    Just under a mile high now mate. Lol 60m above sea level. Even the lighter bursts are wintry. Very little/no rain
