  6. Looking at the Scottish thread quite a few are calling it a non event for them further south than forecast.
  7. Looking at the Radar it looks like the heavy PPN that was due in SW Scotland is going to miss that area looks to be heading more NW-SE what that means for more snow I have no idea or if it will turn sleety .

  9. @Kasim Awan airports don’t close they suspend movements whilst the runways and taxiways are cleared and de-iced,The last time Manchester Airport was closed was the Manchester Airport disaster. anyway off topic a few cm possible for parts of Cheshire is my reckoning.

Always remember a forecast by Rob Mcelwee in a forecast in December 2010 started the forecast with a big smile followed by it is becoming a regular habit this snow.i am sure he was sending a message to the snow nuts on this forum,miss him so much such a cold ramper but in such a professional manner.
