  1. Not much impact of storm Debi at West Kirby. The new flood gates are sill open.
  2. High tide is 10:40 on the Wirral, iif the direction is westerly with a bit of north in it it could get interesting to the N.Wirral coasts, although it looks worse further north than us.
  3. Looking windy on Monday for NW coasts coinciding with decent sized tides, 8.8 meters for Hilbre Island off the Wirral. Not sure if it’s enough to challenge coastal defence's, but it could give the new sea wall at West Kirby is first test, and provide some entertainment at New Brighton. Max gusts GFS, 60 MPH?
  4. Snow showing up this evening on the met office for here, was not expecting it until thurs-fri.
  5. Bit mixed at lower levels for Friday on the metoffice hi res, at least it’s still heading north.
  6. Icy snowy stuff falling here, getting a covering. If it sticks here on the coast, then should be no problems further inland.
  7. Shower just arrived now and fizzled out. Just ice pellets this time. Seems be from a more westerly direction.
  8. Looks like more showers on the way, think the wind may have shifted WNW. Pics looking across to N Wales and North from the Wirral.
  9. Turned to proper snow now, coming down quite well now. IMG_0136.MOV
  10. Bit of snow/ice pellets earlier this morning. Welsh hills are also looking white. Shower now, just hit mix of snow , and ice pellets.
  11. Dusting here on the Wirral = a blizzard for a us, still falling should be on its way to you Cheshire gapers.
  12. Ice just confined to the North end of the lake, seen worse back in 2010
