Just had a nice surprise there, a thunderstorm developed right over me, heavy rain and thunder claps, wasn't extreme but by my standards it was brilliant! -

Thanks milkmaid! I can't view that one as I haven't installed the required plug-in. Don't know what that means
-
Just spotted that now! it's showing up on the tremor charts though so maybe it's correct? http://hraun.vedur.is/ja/oroi/esk.gif She ready to blow? Anyone got a webcam link?

SC24 is definetly getting it's act together! This is a southern hemisphere sunspot, along with sunspot 1005 (northern hemisphere).
-
I don't know much about sunspots, but the last few small ones that have appeared are from SC24. They seem to be getting more frequent but are not lasting long.I'm just keeping my eye on them to see if they start lasting longer, then l'll know that SC24 has started for certain!
