  1. I'm about 7 miles NNW of Keswick, watching the radar as it passes me by to the East (again). Not so much as a drop of rain or a distant rumble yet but I haven't given up hope.
  2. Excellent! Saved that one. Just saw a light aircraft taxying, hope it's just landed rather than taking off.
  3. Plenty of distant rumbles but still bright and dry at Bassenthwaite (despite what the rain radar suggests) I like the look of the recent activity South West of me though, might make it over the hills.
  4. Yes. I don't post here often, but frequently lurk. I'm a software engineer with a windows 10 laptop which has a 4K display that some forum/browser combinations don't like so I'd be happy to test it at high res with IE, Chrome, FF and Edge.
  5. Part of the railway station roof blown off, Airport itself isn't affected.
  6. 1.8c in North Cumbria now. Looks promising for some snow here tomorrow. I'm trying not to get my hopes up.
  7. Still no snow settling in the far North of the North West region. A few flakes blowing about in the wind on and off all day. Never mind, I got to work and back easily and Mrs mikeyd only had to drive the kids 5 miles South to Caldbeck to test the sledge. Surprised that West Cumbria got a covering. Enjoy it while it lasts.
  8. It's wet but it isn't rain. Can't call it snow but it is precipitating light grains of white stuff here.
  9. I've been following the North west regional thread for years. (First post, go easy.) This graphic is the best forecast I've seen ever. I'm in the North West of the North West region (Wigton, 12 miles due West of Carlisle) and being on the Solway plain we never get snow. I'm ignoring all the forecasts and will be looking out the window tomorrow.
