  2. Thanks Julian. I'm usually following your blogs about Glastonbury but am now going skiing in the easter holidays in Courchevel area. Are these updates once a week? Is this the best place to be reading? Thanks
  3. So with the terrible news of J10 being too busy, when can we expect this official 'Net Weather' forecast? Any news?
  4. Charts looking even better are they not? Wouldn't it be great if jackone did a dustmudometre reading one last time. Surely a 2?
  5. Massive thanks from us all over on efestivals. Every year we love and appreciate your blogs and the time it must take. Cheers

  7. The latest on metoffice app seem to have more 'light showers' that 'heavy showers'..And other sites seem to have also reduced there's amount of rain. Have things started to look a bit more positive? I.E has the worst missed/ going to miss..? Thanks again Jackone, we are all very thankful.

  11. Dear jackone, A message from a big group of us here, just to say thank you for every thing. Yes it did rain 10mm, but you warned it might and we got prepared. It's now drying out very quickly and will be dry by tomorrow morning. So that's most of the festival dry, in fact about 70% so you right all along! Thank again from a quickly drying glastonbury
  12. I think the hope was around 7, but who knows...keep us informed of the state of the sight.. Remember even if it's muddy, it should, as usual, dry out in 24 hours (at most) as long as there's no more significant top ups...
  13. These amounts are what you suggested a few days ago, so not a huge change. Still blue/ hazzy on webcams.. http://www.bbc.co.uk/music/festivals/glastonbury/webcam/
  14. Any news on the over night charts Jacko? A quick update on that rain amount would be much appreciated before I leave! Got worse/ better?
  15. Hope someone can help, but was wonderign what the latest charts are looking like for this weekend at Glastonbury? Still patchy rain, or is it now looking worse/ better? Cheers
  16. Famous again Jackone! Any news on that possible rain? How were the latest charts? Cheers again for everything. Dan

  18. Hi Jackone, all reports from the site are that whatever rain they had, it had no lasting effect on the site, and the wind and sun has done it's job. To conclude, not an issue at all...
  19. As with others, I'm not able to get there until Friday evening, so a Thursday evening one would be great..
  20. Another mention today and a link to this thread, on the front page of the website.... http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2013/jun/21/glastonbury-2013-weather-forecast-less-muddy
  21. The Guardian and The Huffington Post....2 quality publictations...Well done! Jackoone there is talk of trying to an attempt in getting you to be Glastonbury's offical weatherman...Would you welcome someone trying to make this happen (unlikely though it may be!) ?
  22. Jackone is famous again.... http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2013/jun/20/glastonbury-festival-sunshine-predicted
  23. The latest looks positive, and also you have taken in the factors of the site...It read much more realistically..Like you've been there! Maybe you should come one year?!
  24. I am not concerned about Thursdays rain. That's almost a week before everyone has arrived..We seem to be looking further and further back every year..!
  25. Hi Jackone, been loving your weather updates for years now. An importnat part of my Glastonbry experience, and am, like many others, very grateful for your work. Just the one thing... Having been to Glastonbury since 1997, I do know a bit about how the mud stays/ dries up. With that in mind I do think you are being over cautious regarding the duability of the mud. There is a million (s) pound drainage system that does work wonders. In 2011 for example, it rained all of Friday evening, which caused the whole sight to be muddy on Saturday. However, by Sunday afternoon, the majority of areas were dry and I have pictures of us picnicing in the main field (Pyramid stage). Yes there were still patches of large puddles/ mud in some of the low lying areas, but these are not a problem at all as easily avoided. To conclude, unless we have an extreme amount of rain across the weekend, it will not have much affect (unless topped up loads through the week). Tuesday evening onwards is the real concern. Anyway it sounds like we have some people on sight who can update us up to next week anyway. Hope you don't mind the info...Thanks again! Dan
