    Hi, A23 is ok, as I have been that way today. A27 Shoreham - Lancing has roadworks (quite slow when busy) I went through Henfield and Steyning, right out to the A24 on Wednesday in the deluge, and the back roads were passable but with a lot of standing water.

    Got caught in an epic downpour whilst I was out in Seaford earlier. Was on the beach so made a hasty dash for the car. Sky was amazing and you could see the shower coming in from the sea.

    Very gusty now with heavy rain (in Brighton). Still very dark for the time of day!

    Morning all, Still quite a thick fog here (in Brighton) visibility of about 200 meters. But I am stuck up on a hill here, so not sure what it's like lower down.

    Woke up at 7am ,and my weather station was reading -9.1c. That is the lowest i've recorded since having it (about 3 years). Already -2.8c now, os another cold night to follow.

    Two storms have passed overhead so far (in Brighton), lights went out for a bit. Feeling fresher here now, but looks like we may catch another if we are lucky.

    Slightly overcast here, temperature dropping now. It doesn't feel as humid as it did earlier.

    Just been out for a short drive, roads are a nightmare. And, no word of a lie someone was snowboarding around the side roads towed by a car!

    Yup, my bad for not looking hard enough (dark garden). Nice coating of snow now. Current stats are 0.4°c Dew point of -0.6°c
