  1. Fairly prolific little storm this I’m having a very decent storm!
  2. Can see not infrequent flashes to my south east - one faint peel of thunder too
  3. It’s definitely weird! Good luck though to everyone to my east - looking forward to seeing those pics
  4. I call it a bust for my area absolutely. Still think the SE will do well. Theres even a hole opening up in the drizzle for Andover to slide through.
  5. Sharp showers all along the south coast apart from - you guessed it - Hampshire. Cursed county.
  6. Some crud moving up into Hampshire now. I’m giddy with excitement
  7. If you run the radar animation the cores of the storms over the Channel Islands and the Brest peninsula barely move - they’ve travelled about 20 miles north in nearly 3 hours
  8. cracking show over Guernsey. Must’ve been going for hours now
  9. I’ve been gone an hour and they haven’t made any northern progress of note - at least the active core of the cells anyway
  10. You can now clearly see how the instability has shifted to the east. A huge double bust for here today.
  11. some nice lightning on here too I’m off to watch an episode of line of duty - if nothing changes by the time it’s done I’m getting an early night
  12. Caen webcam - not the best quality but constant lightning I hope you’ve enjoyed the Andover storm season as much as I have this year. It’s been a real white knuckle thrill ride
  13. I’m ignoring the Channel Islands stuff now - it’s stationary for some god forsaken reason Just got to see if anything pops up south west of us on the coast really. That’s all I can wish for
  14. The area west of Salisbury and down towards Dorset does seem to want to keep trying bless it
  15. Flying eagle? also how do you guys go about getting live webcams? Every time I search for one the sites are always horrendous, full of pop ups and not live.
  16. The stuff around Guernsey absolutely petrified to move into the channel
  17. Storms apparently aren’t affected by the channel if elevated but I’m not so sure about that honestly
  18. That cell south west of Caen could be the stuff that moves up to affect the south east later. Looks quite pokey on radar
  19. Right well game over for here I would say. Gonna find something else to do with my evening. Good luck those in the east. Peace out guys
  20. The ‘intense’ stuff is barely gaining any forward momentum. Keeps fizzling out on its northern edge Edit - infact the stuff down in the Channel Islands is also now fizzling out lol. very cool!
