  1. Hi Surrey, Great Yarmouth had snow this morning according to the local newspaper. Even in marginal conditions anything is possible I guess, even on the coast. http://www.edp24.co.uk/news/snow_falls_in_great_yarmouth_this_morning_1_3939444 It's obviously a slow news day lol. Still hope for you SN0WM4N
  2. It's been snowing here for the past hour, nice fluffy flakes blowing around in the wind. Not amounting to much and a bit surprised, but looks lovely and just happy to be getting something after all the rain at the weekend. Temp currently 1c with a dew point of -1C
  3. Just had drizzle and now sleety rain, temp is 2c with a dp of 1c. All very dreary
  4. Overcast and cold, now 1c and dew point -1C It's a shame that we won't be getting any precipitation up here!!! Also thought this link may be useful to those without a weather station. http://www.wunderground.com/wundermap/ Hopefully it works ok. Enjoy Sorry looks like WunderMaps has already been mention...doh!!!
  5. We have had some wet snow in the last hour, steady falls but not settling. Also had reports of snow in Cromer which is just up the road... I didn't expect anything here and especially this early. Promising signs if we get any further showers tonight, even if it is only short lived until tomorrow. Already had more snow than the whole of last winter. Positive signs indeed
  6. Heavy snow here in North Norfolk and it's just starting to settle. Keeps going from really big flakes to smaller grains. Very surprised as we were only really forecast light rain, sleet and snow mix.
  7. Steady snow here at the moment. After the weekend where the showers kept out over the North sea, it is a pleasant surprise to wake up to a covering this morning . This may be the last we get for a little while as it turns less cold as the week goes on. Anything can happen so keep optimistic about more colder and snowy weather for the rest of the winter.
  8. Nothing here in North Norfolk apart from what is still lying from the past few days. I woke up at about 3-30 this morning and it was as clear as a bell but very cold. It said -5.4 on the thermometer. I'm just hoping we may get some snow from the showers off the sea over the next few days.
  9. Rain just started turning to sleet and snow. Very wet on the ground, so unless it's very heavy I can't see it settling. Although a could well be surprised.
